Poll: 40% of Republicans won’t get coronavirus vaccine


As ABC notes, interest in a vaccine is significantly higher in areas that have experienced severe outbreaks of coronavirus compared to those that haven’t, which means that support could increase as the pandemic continues. But if these results hold, and many Americans remain opposed to getting treatment that would prevent coronavirus infections, then finding a vaccine may only be another part of the battle to eradicate the virus, and not the endpoint many hope for.
